Algarve Property News. Ryanair has announced another direct route to Faro recently from Derry.
Starting first of April 2010, the new service will bring a wider holiday choice to Northern Ireland in time for Summer 2010 and further underlines the importance of Faro as an international destination for holiday makers, golfers and sportsmen.
Chairman of the Derry Airport Committee, Mr Eastwood said: “This is a positive new service and it’s great to offer more value and choice for everyone in the region. This scheduled international flight to Portugal signals a positive development for the airport and is a confident statement of the opportunities that exist for the airport and the region”.
